How did it all start? The story is quite simple.
It all began in 2007 when two friends, who shared a genuine love for espresso and, in their search for a café with genuine quality, decided to create their very own.
After just one year of searching, opportunity knocked on their door and, soon after, Il Barretto became a reality in the Golden Hall Mall, on the outskirts of Athens.
Their philosophy is to take one day at a time, and always make their decisions based on what they would like if they were the customers. Always careful not to forget, nor compromise their original dream while constantly striving to incorporate new ideas and even further improve the quality of their products and the service offered, that has made Il Barretto what it is today.
Now, a few years later, thanks to the enthusiastic support of many loyal customers, Il Barretto has grown to a small network of cafés, and we still remain enthusiastic in our efforts to continuously offer our quality coffee and products to all our customers.
